Welcome to
Pine Cone Harbour!
We are so happy you are interested in joining our community and hope the below information will be useful in making your final decision. Whether this is your first home, your retirement home, or somewhere in between, PCH is a wonderful community with spectacular views over the Hampton River.
Our Management Company, United Property Associates (One Old Oyster Point Rd, Suite 140, Newport News, VA 23602) runs the business side of Pine Cone Harbour and can provide answers for the information contained in the resale packet provided by your realtor. Any questions that you may have can be directed to our Association Manager, Debbie Vincent. She can be reached by phone at 757-873-1185 or by email at dvincent@unitedpropertyassociates.com.

Where do you go from here?
First, please note that we are a rental-restricted property. If you are purchasing at PCH with the intent to rent your property, you MUST receive permission from the Board of Directors. Our Bylaws only allow for a small percentage of the property to be rented at any given time.
Next, review the packet provided by your realtor and if you have any questions or concerns, reach out to our Management Company or to the Board of Directors. They can provide answers or direct you along to others if they can’t.
Some helpful information for after your purchase:
- The keys to your home and mailbox must be provided by the seller. The Management Company nor the Board of Directors have access to any of these keys.
- When you know your closing date, please contact the Management Company and Board of Directors. The intent is to assist you in getting onto the property and ensuring you are provided a means of communication during the transition.
- After your closing, please provide the following to the Management Company
- A listing of any vehicles that will be permanently parked at PCH. Each homeowner is authorized two parking passes and two visitor passes. These may be given to you from the seller, but we want to ensure your vehicles are properly registered with the Management Company to ensure they are not towed from the property. Additionally, each home on PCH is authorized one numbered parking space. When you provide your details to the Management Company, they will ensure you know which spot is yours. All other vehicles need to be parked in a first-come, first-served visitor spot.
- A listing of any recreational vehicles, trailers, or boats that you wish to park in the RV/Boat lot. This area is a first-come, first-served area, but we need to keep track of all vehicles/trailers for safety and security.
- Contact information for you and your family that will be residing on PCH. We are not requesting this information to bother you. All information will be added to the PCH Directory (if you so desire) and your email addresses will be added to the PCH Distribution List so you can receive periodic emails from the Board of Directors. This is often used to provide time-sensitive information out to all homeowners. Management will also use your phone numbers to add to the call box so visitors can contact you from the gatehouse.
- Register for access to the Pine Cone Harbour website (https://pineconeharbour.org/register/). This site has valuable information including our governing guidance, insurance information, etc., but access can only be granted after you have closed on your new home.
Finally, a small plug for our community
As stated, PCH is run by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. As with any other community, it takes everyone’s efforts to keep the property looking good. If you are interested in joining the Board of Directors or would just like to volunteer a little time to the community, please contact us. We are always looking for people to get involved to make our community the best it can be. At a minimum, we hope that you will join us the third Monday of every month for our monthly Board meeting. This is where you can voice any concerns and help us determine what actions the Board should take to move the property forward.
